Benefits of doubt

I think a lot of the world is focused on this idea that a lot of people are evil, crazy, and stupid, and that’s why they make decisions. And what I’ve found is it’s rarely the case. Usually it’s just something about not having the same context as that person. So it’s made me a more understanding person, someone who’s more willing to give the benefit of the doubt .. It’s really easy to get outraged when you’re sitting in front of your computer and reading something about something stupid that someone did. It’s harder when you’re actually out there, staring face to face with whatever it is that you’re reading about—whatever the content is that you’re consuming.
